MICHELIN Guide Restaurants in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach (2026)

Bougainvillea over a Palm Beach courtyard

West Palm Beach has become a serious food town. The MICHELIN Guide added the Palm Beaches to its Florida coverage in 2025, and in 2026 it expanded the Florida guide to cover the entire state. Here is every restaurant in West Palm Beach and the Town of Palm Beach that appears in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Florida, revealed in May 2026, with the exact distinction each one holds.

Source: the official MICHELIN Guide website, checked in October 2026. Michelin updates its selection every year, so confirm the current list on the guide's site before you book.

What the distinctions mean

  • MICHELIN Star: One Star means high quality cooking. Michelin also awards Two and Three Stars.
  • Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking.
  • Recommended: restaurants that are listed in the guide for good cooking without a Star or Bib Gourmand.

One MICHELIN Star

Emelina (West Palm Beach), Cuban

Emelina earned One MICHELIN Star in 2026, its first year in the selection. It's the only Starred restaurant in Palm Beach County this year. Chefs Osmel González and Camila Salazar take Cuban cooking as their foundation and bring global influences to it, using mostly South Florida ingredients. It's an intimate space with counter seats facing the open kitchen, so plan to reserve well ahead.

Bib Gourmand

aioli (West Palm Beach), American

aioli holds a Bib Gourmand. It's a scratch sourdough bakery and cafe on South Dixie Highway, with an in-house bakery, an open kitchen, and an all-day breakfast and lunch menu, plus dinners to take home. Read more in our aioli spotlight.

Palm Beach Meats (West Palm Beach), American

Palm Beach Meats also holds a Bib Gourmand. Also on South Dixie Highway, it's part gourmet butcher shop and market, part casual restaurant, from Eric and Meghan San Pedro. The focus is wagyu, and the small, creative menu includes a few Filipino-leaning dishes.

MICHELIN Recommended

būccan (Palm Beach), contemporary American

būccan is Recommended in the 2026 guide, and it's the only Town of Palm Beach restaurant in the selection. It's a longtime local favorite on South County Road from Chef Clay Conley, with a wide-ranging contemporary American menu of crudos, small plates for sharing and pastas, much of it changing with the seasons.

Moody Tongue Sushi (West Palm Beach), sushi

Moody Tongue Sushi is Recommended. Located inside the Hilton West Palm Beach downtown, it pairs omakase-style sushi with the beers of Moody Tongue Brewing, in a dim, moody setting.

Ela Curry & Cocktails (Indian)

Ela Curry & Cocktails is Recommended. The MICHELIN Guide files it under West Palm Beach, but it's on Donald Ross Road in the northern part of the county, in the Palm Beach Gardens area, so plan on a drive. The menu focuses on regional Indian cooking, and there's outdoor dining.

Where they are

  • Downtown West Palm Beach: Emelina and Moody Tongue Sushi (inside the Hilton West Palm Beach).
  • South Dixie Highway: aioli and Palm Beach Meats, both on the south side of the city and an easy drive from our homes in SoSo.
  • Palm Beach island: būccan, just across the bridge and close to Worth Avenue.
  • North county: Ela Curry & Cocktails, on Donald Ross Road.

That spread makes it easy to plan around your day: a Bib Gourmand lunch after a morning on Antique Row, dinner on Palm Beach after an afternoon on the Lake Trail, or a special-occasion night downtown followed by a walk along the waterfront.

Tips for planning a MICHELIN night out

  • Reserve early, especially in winter and spring, when the area is busiest (see our seasonal guide). Small, counter-style rooms book up fastest.
  • Check hours on the restaurant's own website. Some places are open only certain nights, and aioli is a daytime spot.
  • Bib Gourmands are great for casual meals. They're a good way to eat well on a regular vacation day.
  • Look beyond the list. Plenty of local favorites aren't in the guide. Our food guide to West Palm Beach has more.

Make it a weekend

A great dinner is even better as part of a long weekend. Pair it with our first-timer's weekend guide, stay in one of our homes in SoSo, book on Airbnb, or ask us for more local recommendations.
